Hello reader,
Goodness, I really need to get better at updating you on my writer journey. It doesn’t help that a lot of things in the industry are quite “hush hush” until terms have been negotiated and papers have been signed. And those quiet times can last for months. Argh!
Therefore, this will be a rather quick update.
What I’m Working On
I’m in the process of editing character traits and extending scenes in “The Reluctant Mentor” (working title). That’s right, the book is getting longer and more kooky!
Secondly, I have begun outlining a new project. Previously, I had been working on a cozy book about a necromancer, but things have changed! 30,000 words into “The Cheerful Necromancer”, I decided to scrap it. Perhaps I’ll return to it someday, but for now, it wasn’t singing for me.
All I can say about my new project (soon to begin writing!!) is:
Magic school
Protagonist with Milo-from-the-Atlantis-Cartoon vibes
Professors
A campus security troll
Next Stop: Narcissism
